Key Achievements: • Developed a fully automated cloud based reporting solution (Jedox) which provides real-time financial spend vs budget on demand to all budget holders. • Re-designed the 10 year business plan (P&L, BS & Cash Flow) to be used for future fund- raising initiatives, grant and loan applications, group entity structuring, go-to market strategies and valuation purposes.

Reporting to the head of commercial finance and senior finance business partner to the Grocery & Nearfood group senior vice president / buying director. Part of the leadership team for the Grocery & Nearfood area and responsible for a turnover of ~€2bn, providing support to and collaborating with the commercial buying managers, being party to the sector strategy and providing insights and recommendations to improve profitability and performance.

Reporting to the finance director of market finance, Western Europe, and senior finance business partner to the group vice president / general manager of the Nordics, Benelux and Baltics business. Positively influenced the strategic direction as part of the business unit’s executive leadership team and day to day responsible for a team of two business analysts.

Reporting to the European finance director of the consumer imaging group. Directed the fully allocated process, in which sales, cost of goods sold and overheads were allocated to commissionaire participant countries, totalling in excess of €1bn. Authored the accounting position paper concerning the proper consolidation accounting treatment, in addition to leading the financial acquisition and integration of Lifecake Limited into Canon EMEA.
