Improved the FSN designs in combustion chamber in terms of smoke production. Proved 5-7% reduction in smoke with one of the design variation. Formulated a methodology using MATLAB to implement DoE techniques for optimizing the test process of a gas turbine engine and identified a redundant test on the engine. This work was recognized with gold excellence award.
