I built up the end-user documentation for PetroMod software. This included user manuals, release notes, and installation guides. I also updated and maintained the PetroMod website, created newsletters for end users, and worked on marketing material such as flyers and presentations. In 2008, IES was aquired by Schlumberger.

I ran the US division of the Irish translation agency, including acquisition, marketing, product development, personnel, budget, and project management of extensive translation projects (up to 20 languages). We had 5-7 part-time and full-time employees and worked with up to 50 free-lancers at a time.

Management of a small translation agency with 5 full-time employees and free-lancers all over the world. Project management for extensive translation projects e.g. for GE Medical, Siemens Medical, etc., development of the website, of marketing and sales concepts, establishment of production routines. The company was acquired by Eurotext Translations, Dublin, Ireland in October 2002.

I translated, edited, and typeset user manuals for patient monitors. I also translated and edited software strings and help lines for the user interface of these monitors.
