Sabbatical leave to live in different parts of the world, make new experiences and

1-year social enterprise leadership program: two 6-months placements (LITTLE BIRD and emmy Sharing); weekly leadership and social sector training. First placement as Business Manager at LITTLE BIRD, responsible for developing and implementing new business models and preparing for a new financing round. Currently, responsible for emmy Sharing’s strategic cooperations with several municipal utilities (“Stadtwerke”) negotiating and implementing agreements independently.

Second On Purpose placement at emmy-Sharing GmbH: emmy (formerly eMio) is a start-up from Berlin, who has established free floating electric scooter sharing in six German cities and is working towards its vision of cities free from traffic emissions and traffic jams. I am responsible for growing emmy’s e-scooter sharing business with municipal utilities (“Stadtwerke”) by expanding the e-scooter fleets as well as leading other business development projects.

First On Purpose placement at LITTLE BIRD GmbH, a Berlin-based company revolutionising the childcare services sector since 2009. As Business Manager to the board, I was responsible for the development and later, as a Product Manager in the newly set up agile team, implementation of new digital business models to transform the German childcare services sector. Furthermore, I supported the preparation of a new round financing by identifying potential investors and preparing pitch decks.

Project manager of international, strategic projects across Telefonica’s business footprint that require autonomous preparation of C-Level meeting material: lead strategic analysis and end-to-end business model of spectrum purchase options in several countries; conduct in-depth market studies with recommendations for organic & inorganic strategic options.

Selected as one of three Returning Ambassadors globally to attend the One Young World summit in Dublin. The event gathered 1,300 young leaders from 194 countries, helping them create positive change. Guided by a line-up of Counsellors including Kofi Annan, Sir Bob Geldof, Mary Robinson, Prof. Muhammad Yunus, and Jimmy Wales, the young delegates debate and formulate solutions for the pressing issues the world faces. No youth-dominated event outside the Olympic Games brings together more countries.

2-year European Leadership Graduate program with Telefonica designed to shape business leaders of the future. Worked in five strategic roles in Munich, DE and London, UK (six-month International Assignment). Received individual coaching as well as completed regular workshops with exposure to senior management across the European business footprint (Spain, UK, Germany, Czech Republic, Ireland) with modules focusing on Leadership & Personality, Networking, Digital Boot Camp, Telco Industry & Market Knowledge.

Performed various comprehensive analyses of telecommunication markets worldwide and derived strategic implications for the company’s strategy in Europe by relating findings back to Telefónica

Project lead “O2 Digital Customer Journey” (10/2013-01/2014): Responsible for the strategic development, all (internal & external) stakeholder management and implementation of the O2 Digital Customer Journey. From May-July 2013, worked together with the Head of Multichannel Strategy & Projects to prepare strategic analyses on the future development of Multi-/Omnichannel Management.

Developed a new sustainability strategy for Telefonica Germany together with the Head of Corporate Responsibility and prepared results presentations for strategic committees. As the department’s representative in the cross-functional “Data Confidence” task force, responsible for improving transparency around data protection questions by contributing to a sustainable solution to prevent data protections issues.

Six-month Green Belt training: work stream lead in an international Black Belt project to optimize processes between HR services in Ireland and Germany. Final examination to obtain the certificate included passing a theoretical and practical assessment by L6S certified examiners

Developed the design of the business process landscape and strategy for the Business directorate in Germany. Advised B2B departments on how to improve process performance and reach the process target maturity in the yearly process Maturity Checks judged by external auditors.
