Thesis Topic: Investigation of Antinutritional Factors in Germinated Cowpea Protein Isolate at the Chair of Plant Proteins and Nutrition

Quality Control (QC): Analyzed all processing stages from raw sugar beet to finished standard/specialty sugars and animal feed. Laboratory Analytics: Utilized photometry, polarimetry, refractometry, sieve analysis, and electrochemical methods (pH/conductivity). Compliance & Safety: Monitored plant safety via wastewater and boiler water testing, and managed analytical data within a LIMS.

Research & Development (R&D): Investigated controlled germination of cowpea (Vigna unguiculata) to reduce antinutritional compounds and optimize protein solubility. Biochemical Analytics: Tracked nitrogen losses via Kjeldahl method and evaluated weight changes and pH levels. Data & Reporting: Conducted statistical evaluations and authored technical laboratory reports on optimized processing methods.

Packaging Technology: Evaluated the product life cycle of food packaging, focusing on material selection, barrier properties, and recyclability. Food Safety & Quality Assurance (QA): Conducted analytical laboratory tests for material purity and authored GLP-compliant test protocols.
