Working at customer site (Qimonda), to develop there latest and future DRAM technology. The main focus was 300mm plasma etching of high aspect ratio contacts and stack capacitors in dielectric films. This involved working on a daily basis with the customer to develop and qualify a production ready process including the documenting and presenting of development results and plans to achieve the customer requirements and goals.

Development of PECVD processes including gas and liquid precursors to meet customer requirements typically dielectric thin films for the MEMS, optical and communications market. Further to this was also the development of dry etch processes especially in the areas of reactive ion etching of many materials including silicon, silicon oxide and wide band-gap materials such as GaAs, GaN and SiC, to meet customer specifications and goals. The verification of process tools in house and at customer site.
