Klaus Pfeiffer

My main source of inspiration is the Greek philosopher Plato and his Allegory of the Cave that the material world as it seems to us is not the real world, but only an image or copy of the real world. Plato describes us a scenario in which what people take to be real would in fact be an illusion. We take the shadows to be real things, not just reflections of reality. In my artwork I'm looking inside of the cave and searching for reasons.
