Bachelor Thesis - Finite Element Analysis on Soot Blower Housing Objective was to reduce the manufacturing cost of Long retractable soot blower. Design made with NX Cad and analyzed using ANSYS 12.0. The final proposal was redesigning the blower by reducing the thickness of shell upto 1 millimeter. Thesis was accepted and appreciated by the BHEL Ltd. Cordially spearheaded the first level production of the soot blower along with BHEL production engineers.
