    Simulation Engineer

    Astotec Automotive GmbH

Ausbildung von Harald Radlwimmer

  • 9 Jahre und 8 Monate, März 2015 - Okt. 2024

Doctoral program in Engineering Sciences Diploma program: Mechanical Engineering

    TU Wien

DOCTORAL RESEARCH Cavity nucleation causes low ductility intergranular fracture at elevated temperatures. We investigated a steel grade using hot tensile tests (Gleeble), materials simulations (MatCalc), and wrote a user-material subroutine for the finite-element analysis software ANSYS Mechanical to gain a comprehensive insight into the underlying mechanisms at a microstructural level. https://permalink.catalogplus.tuwien.at/AC17351071

  • 10 Jahre und 2 Monate, Okt. 2004 - Nov. 2014

    Diploma program: Mechanical Engineering

    TU Wien

MASTER THESIS “Microstructural evolution during homogenization of AA-7075 alloy” The microstructural evolution of a direct chill (DC) electromagnetically cast (EMC) 7075 aluminum alloy ingot was investigated during homogenization. Investigations were performed utilizing metallographic analysis, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). https://permalink.catalogplus.tuwien.at/AC12132402

ENGINEER THESIS “Power-Test Bench for Dental Motors” A power-test bench for dental motors was developed and built in a cooperation between HTBLuVA Mödling and W&H Dentalwerke Bürmoos GmbH. The device’s test range is 0 to 50,000 min1 as well as 0 to 0.15 Nm. A utility model was registered at the Austrian Patent Office as publication AT6118U3 “BREMSVORRICHTUNG FÜR KLEINMOTOREN ZUR ERFASSUNG DER ANTRIEBSMOMENTE”. https://worldwide.espacenet.com/publicationDetails/biblio?CC=AT&NR=6118U3&KC=U3
