o Established recombinant expression, purification and functional characterization of Insect Metalloprotease Inhibitor (IMPI) in E. coli. o Improved M4-metalloprotease (Pseudolysin and Aureolysin) inhibitory activity of the Insect Metalloprotease Inhibitor (IMPI) to over 50% by site-directed mutagenesis. o Secured €72,000 in third-party funding as Principal Investigator to research epigenetic regulation of innate immunity during UPEC infection. o Led and coordinated a team of five under BSL-2 standards.

o Management, planning, and execution of research projects in transgenerational epigenetic side effects of pharmaceutical compounds. o Prepared scientific reports, protocols, publications and participated in conferences, exhibition/trade fairs.
