Other projects: Developed a Linux GUI application for an industrial touch-panel with RFID. Developed a PC GUI for a Bluetooth-based Heart Rate Monitor application. Systems engineer for a complex CANopen-based system with over 30 servos. Developed a Windows PC GUI (C#/WPF) for the control of a CANopen-based servo system.

Embedded SW development for own startup company that developed an industrial label printer. Developed a graphical rendering software module (embedded Linux/C) for hard real-time rendering of dynamic text and barcodes. Added new functions to the embedded printer application (Linux/Python/GTK touch GUI). Developed customer specific functions in a large project together with the customer's engineers and operators. Trained 30 operators at a customer site.

Group manager for 6-12 hardware and software engineers. Responsible for hiring, budget ($2M/year), project management, and system architecture.

Team- and technical for a team of 4-6 hardware and software engineers. Led the team's daily work of maintaining existing products and developing new hardware and software. Project & technical lead for the development of a new DSP-board. Wrote requirements and design specifications.

Designed and implemented enhancements to the existing complex real-time embedded SW. Designed and implemented an automated Windows GUI production test application in C++. Project engineer and systems engineer for a pre-study of a new DSP board. Wrote requirements specifications and high level design specifications. Systems engineer for the development of a next generation AMR system ($5M development project).

Embedded software/firmware development engineer. Worked on the design, implementation, and testing of embedded systems. Mostly 32-bit embedded systems with an RTOS, but also some 8-bit microcontrollers, and 32-bit DSPs. Areas included board bringup, diagnostics FW, device drivers, hard real-time applications, communications SW, digital signal processing.
