The main goal of my work is the development of polymeric nano and, microparticles, microfibers, and films for the administration of small molecules - lipidic or water-soluble as well as macromolecules - peptides and proteins. The techniques for particle size and morphology determination DLS, SLS and optical and scanning electron microscopy (SEM, Cryo- and FF-SEM) are widely applied. UV-vis absorbance, Fluorescence, EPR, NMR as well as HPLC are common tools for in vitro drug release profile determination.

Working in the field of development and characterization of polymeric nano-carriers for drug delivery, exploring, among others, spectroscopic techniques as electron paramagnetic resonance, infrared, scanning electron microscopy, and particle size determination by DLS, SLS, NTA.

Development, characterization, in vitro and in vivo evaluation of liposomal formulations associated with meglumine antimoniate for the treatment of leishmaniasis.

Management of the purchasing departments, warehouse and pharmacy of the Institution. Organization, development and implementation of routines to improve human and material resources, including documentation to guarantee the quality of the development of activities related to the supply chain and to the pharmacy of the hospital institution. Participation in the implementation of computerized management systems (information systems MV and Bionexo).

Coordination of the activities of the pharmacy with focus on the development of electronic processes of drug distribution and of human resources for the maintenance of hospital certification (ONA level 3). Participation in the implementation of a computerized management system (information system MV). Elaboration and implantation of kits of surgical procedures and their electronic distribution and control.
