Area of Practice: Banking and corporate finance. Key responsibilities: (A) Lead the project, coordinate with various parties involved in the transaction (e.g. security company, trust company, banks); and (B) Analyze and recommend transaction structure, supervise work done by team members (e.g. review legal due diligence report, preparation of legal opinion, drafting and finalizing transaction documents, etc.).

Area of Practice: M&A, greenland investment, general corporate. Key responsibilities: (A) Lead the project, find the best solution to satisfy clients’ commercial objectives; (B) Coordinate with authorities, clients, counterparties, lawyers from different jurisdictions; (C) Draft, review and revise legal documents prepared by various parties for the transaction; (D) Conduct and oversee legal due diligence exercise; and (E) Supervise work done by team members.

Area of Practice: Compliance (Foreign Corrupt Practices Act). Key responsibilities: FCPA investigation against Chinese subsidiaries of MNC.

Area of Practice: China desk. Key responsibilities: Translation, legal research on Chinese law.
