Larissa Wiegelmann

During my time at the Museon I was working on an exhibition on the history of the UN. Within this project I was primarily responsible for establishing a theoretical framework for the Museon to use in the proposal for funding. Additionally, I created content for the exhibition through editing and rewriting personalised stories and managed communication and coordinated changes with the interviewees of these stories.

I was a waitress in a restaurant in a popular square in The Hague for six months in order to earn some money for my upcoming studies. I served food and drinks to our guests. It was a very fast pace environment which required quick thinking and teamwork amongst all colleagues. My proudest achievement during my time at De Tijd was that I significantly improved my Dutch language proficiency.

EUROCLIO promotes responsible and multi perspective history education as a tool of peace, reconciliation and for the advancement of human rights. During my time at EUROCLIO, I was responsible for organising project events, content development, reviewing and proofreading project proposals and a number of administrative tasks which required acute organisational skills.

I worked at the Norwegian Canning Museum for four summers during my final high school years and beginning years of my Bachelors. I was responsible for managing the Museum café and on other days I worked at the reception in main building of the Museum where I handled administrative matters and conducted tours around the museum to an international audience.
