Leads program sustainment activities for the US Department of Energy's (DOE) Second Line of Defense (SLD) program in Azerbaijan aimed at reducing the risk of nuclear proliferation by preventing the illicit trafficking of special nuclear and other radiological materials by cooperating with Azerbaijan to improve its detection and interdiction capabilities at strategic international border crossings, seaports, and airports.
