Performed technology scouting and business case brainstorming activities as lead technical expert for the sensor development department

Managed complex core development projects from concept phase to kick off, successfully leading multidivisional development teams to completion of project activities. Responsible for core sensor design, lens design, technical guidelines, and hand-over to manufacturing. Technical project lead for application projects with German and French automotive OEMs, winning new business opportunities and developing strong customer relationships. Lead author of two patents relating to optical and sensor concepts.

Technical lead for the metrology division of UK R&D clinical trials and new lens product design. Main responsibilities included • development of new optical metrology systems • data collection and analysis, to advise future lens design activity, • production support for daily and clinical trial product build • supporting operators/R&D technicians with metrology and quality analysis • operator training and procedure documentation • Equivalence study and Gauge R&R testing
