The scope in this role was to support the different business segments of Oerlikon in terms of Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding topics globally. Examples of responsibilities: attract external top talent for key - and management positions, establish Oerlikon as preferred company in the region, assure cost efficient recruitment processes, implement best practices in assessment and selection.

'11-'12 Responsible for the HR, Recruitment and Internal Communications team worldwide. Development and roll-out of HR strategy, with focus on organizational efficiency, performance management, talent development, recruitment, internal communication and company events. '09-'11 Setting up and implementing the recruitment and employer branding strategy worldwide. Hiring, training and managing a team of 5 employees.

Responsible for the sourcing and selection of experienced candidates for Accenture Consulting and Outsourcing: recruiting for the sub-groups Process & Innovation Performance, Accenture Marketing Science, Customer Relation Management and Business Process Outsourcing (ING, ASML, and others). Project manager for an internal offshore outsourcing transition project.

Developed and maintained a recruitment portfolio: continuous acquisition of new clients, vacancies and candidates; matching operational and managerial positions for perm and temp placements. Coaching and daily management of assigned consultants of the team, and operational management of the Amsterdam office as member of senior team. Followed training on topics such as advanced client meeting, advanced interviewing and Junior Management.

Recruitment of international personnel in the Netherlands: acquisition of new vacancies in form of projects, temp work or direct placements, presentation of service portfolio to (potential) clients, visiting international recruitment fairs, price negotiations with clients, contract meetings with candidates. Followed training on the topics such as interview techniques, negotiation and bargaining skills.
