Working with Telefonica to attempt to introduce regulated QA to an area which had previously been the domain of external suppliers. Focused around revenue protection the system draws data from various areas of the architecture, monitors for any discrepancies possibly indicating illegal usage or changes in the way services are used. My focus is primarily introducing a more standardised approach to testing, test planning, review of requirements/user stories and the creation of targeted test cases.

My role was a combination of hands on technical and lead/management responsibilities, providing expertise in a wide range of disciplines across the project. QA and defect process review with the intention of updating and improving them. I organised and took part in technical workshops for the test team in order to perform knowledge transfer and bring my team up to speed on the full solution. My role here is to provide whatever QA functions are required upon multiple projects. In some cases I am required to generate QA documentation, execute my test cases, manage defects and day to day project work. My roles have covered call centre management tools , IVR and voice calling solutions, , billing and customer management tools, system testing and co-ordination with external vendors.

Working with the integrator to examine mapping documents, creation of related test strategies, plans and test cases. Using a sprint based approach we worked across many streams executing, reporting on and defect managing across the full architecture

Testing an upgrade to the payments system for Birmingham city council. System interfaces to SAP and external financial services. Testing include both infrastructure and functional testing to confirm compliancy with PA DSS standards.

Managing QA process, resource and reporting for the EACI (Executive Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation) within the European Commission.

Did not complete degree due to financial and family commitments.
