• Improvement of the laboratory equipment based on the problem-solving techniques; • Doing functional tests of the water heaters following the test plans; • Reporting of the experimental results to the project teams; • Analyzing the experimental data using tools such as, Microsoft Excel and Python programming language;

The main goal of this internship was to use embedded systems developer using affordable microprocessor boards such as Arduino/Raspberry PI to measure theperformance efficiency of individual pieces of equipment for Wickens Engineering Ltd, including punching machines, CNC drills and robotic welders. This is an innovative way to measure the performance of older pieces of equipment that are not able to produce data of their own.
