A major project was a strategic reorientation of the B2B business with NutraQ's CD. After a SWOT and competitor activity analysis, we found that the business model could be significantly improved. The first change was focussing on a smaller but powerful product range and re-branding it. We switched to a distributor model, enabling us to build close and lasting relationships with customers around the world. The last step was a makeover of all marketing that now mirrors the premium quality of our products.

Apart from my commercial tasks in NutraQ, I was also responsible for managing the group's Intellectual Property. This included implementing an overall IP strategy, as well as filing, administrating, monitoring and defending Patent and Trademark rights, drafting agreements as well as in-house training on IP.

My first task was to establish the necessary structure and networks in new markets (Germany and Denmark), in order to enable the marketing unit to launch a portfolio of consumer goods. At a later stage, my tasks also included B2C print and digital direct marketing for the German market as well as project management.

Together with another student, I took over the team lead of this newly established volunteer organization. We improved awareness of the IST significantly, resulting in the affiliation with the university's alumni organization, increased funding and the allocation of a permanent office. Together with our team of approx. 10 volunteers, we assisted and advised international students, organized welcome weeks, planned and conducted events, worked with PR and created marketing material.

At HUT, I gave German lessons for Chinese English and science master students. Class sizes were up to 35. Another task was to prepare future exchange students for their stay in Germany by giving them German language and culture lessons. I developed the lesson plans and exams, and conducted and graded final exams.
