I lead the Linux Server Administration Team.

As an Infrastructure Service Delivery Manager I am responsible of delivering high-quality services from Infrastructure areas ( servers, LAN/WAN, DBA, Windows, Linux, AIX , Backup, Storage, VDI etc.). My new responsibilities can be categorized in 3 pillars: - Escalation Management - Project Management - Process and Services Management

My main responsibilities include backup solution design, project implementation, project coordination and support for each countries. Also, I resolve complex backup, archiving and restoring problems, including issues with hardware components, software, and other backup media. Also, performing research and analysis on technology changes related to data backup/Disaster Recovery systems and processes and making change recommendations to management are other of my responsibilities.

As an Infrastructure Team Leader, I coordinate the following teams: Backup Team, Active Directory/Exchange Team, Server Monitoring Team, Identity Directory Management Team, Social Network Team and Server Virtualization International Team ( a total of 22 FTE).

Main activities and responsibilities: effective provisioning, configuration, operation and maintenance of servers (hardware and software) and related infrastructure. I was also responsible for planning and performing appropriate procedures, documentation and inventory assessment. Performing short-term and long-term backup, ensuring that all file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, using TSM, HP Data Protector and EMC Networker.

Main activities and responsibilities: - Providing 1st level support for all employees from Metro Cash and Carry and Metro Systems Head Offices - Remote technical support for all employees of Metro Group in Romania - Using a ticketing system (HP Service Center) to centralize and solve the incidents - Offering support, efficiently and effectively and in accordance with priority and impact - Escalating problems according to procedures (to the 2nd level support engineers);

Main activities and responsibilities: - coordinating the Helpdesk Support Team - planning and implementing the hardware and software maintenance program - administrating the hardware and software resources - administrating the local area network - creating presentation materials for the new employees regarding the main services offered by IT Department - acquisition of IT software and hardware equipment according to the approved budgets
