Working on fitting Cisco's products and services to the needs of the aerospace and satellite communication sectors. Technical Leader. Chartered Engineer. Responsible for the initial testing and ongoing operation of Cisco's first router in orbit onboard the UK-DMC satellite built by Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd, leading Cisco's participation in collaboration with SSTL and NASA Glenn Research Center. Took this further to be the first to test IPv6 and delay-tolerant networking from space.
