A sworn essential public safety officer, assemble, organize, analyze, and record information pertaining to adjudicated youth to aid their adjustment and development or modification of the youth's program in a correctional setting; to perform correctional officer duties during emergency situations, such as fights, attempted escapes, or major incidents, such as riots; to maintain order and supervise the conduct of youth's behaviors; to maintain the safety of persons and property.
