Head responsible for equipment fleet. Supervisor of all maintenance/qualification activities of QC and manufacturing department. Scientific advisor for all LC(-MS)-based method development according to ICH Q2 and nonGMP based MS analytics (mainly small molecules). Co-supervisor of GMP-compliance of manufacturing department. Small molecule API manufacturing . Risk assessments of starting materials/process/product specifications. Chemical Process development for API synthesis&purification (g-kg scale).

Scientist Drug Discovery / Analytics -Development of bioanalytical methods with HPLC-MSMS based techniques -in vitro/in vivo DMPK measurements Drug Discovery of small molecule NCEs -Design of NCEs for different targets according to ligand- and structure-based approaches -Synthesis development of NCEs using multi-step or combinatorial chemistry -Activity/Affinity determination of NCE-target interactions using in vitro biological assays (HPLC/SPR)
