- Technology intelligence in the fields of energy, environment & sustainable development to identify and promote french-german scientific collaborations; - Management of events (conferences, workshops,parliamentary evenings); - Writing diplomatic notes, speeches and reports.

-Topic: long term evolution of clay barrier (nuclear waste, CO2 storage). Multi-scale porosity investigation of swelling clay upon hydration in relation to mechanical behavior. - Collaboration with 3 research teams: soil mechanics (LEMTA), geochemistry (BRGM), textural analysis/imaging (LIEC); - Writing a thesis, scientific articles and reports, oral presentations at international conferences; - Materials characterization technics: oedometer test, gas adsorption, XRD, IR, µCT, nano-FIB, SEM, TEM.

This internship dealt with hazards on drinking water resources represented by new subsurface activities (Carbon Capture & Storage, geothermal energy, hydrofracking) with a first draft of a risk assessment.

This internship focused on the geothermal power plants of the Paris basin with participation in the project of a borehole renewal (modeling of thermal and hydraulically states of the Dogger aquifer at the site considered with the COMSOL software).

Discovery of the freshwater plant and water sampling for analyses

- Multi-scale investigation of porosity, particle interaction and mechanical behavior upon wetting to estimate long term evolution of clay barrier (nuclear waste, CO2); - Design of an innovative device to assess the properties of swelling materials at various scales.

Former student in the hydrogeology and water resource management department at the ENSG de Nancy, a French leading engineering school in geosciences (5-year university degree – 360 ECTS European credits).
