The experimental work will involve the investigation of the function of a candidate regulator of differentiation in muscle progenitor cells in culture, in particular its effect on the expression of differentiation genes.

Characterisation of different kind of non refined sugars ( physico and chemical characterisation). Evaluation of antibacterial capacity of these sugars. Development of functional products based on these sugars.
