As Director Global Design Center I am responsible to implement a global engineering structures and tools to help the Prettl Sensor Wire Harness Division (SWH) to globally collaborate engineering resources and utilize the global best practices and reduce time to market. In addition I still act as Director of Engineering and Head of Project Management for Nafta Projects here in Greenville SC.

Responsible for standardizing engineering procedures, templates, and create new department structures in the Americas to improve the communication between all plants. Create and develop intuitive tools to organize engineering related documentation for better project visibility for all team members. Coordinate and assign engineering projects to the applicable local engineering Teams.

Responsible for meeting technical, cost, and schedule milestone targets for all engineering product development activities. Represent the primary customer interface for all technical development activities and issue resolutions as well as technical sales support to obtain or secure potential new business opportunities. Provide guidance to engineering and technician staff, to resolve development constraints and insure technical and engineering targets are maintained.

Responsible for managing multiple automotive development projects including conceptualization, design, installation, debugging and optimization of production lines and processes. Prepared calculations, Bill of Materials, milestone schedules and provided budgetary numbers to management for various projects. Selected suppliers and negotiated part prices in accordance with internal budgets.
