-Need to improve accuracy and the precision of the Inertial Navigation System (INS). -Its dependency on the Global Positioning System (GPS) for the position recognition. -Making it to be self-reliant, hence in the absence of GPS it can provide accurate and precise position of the vehicle. -Reliance of accuracy on vibration which raised the need of filtration.
