Lecturer in the course 'Literature review and writing skills', for bachelor students (9ECTS). This is a temporary position, covering for a lecturer currently on leave.

My research focuses on the creation and development of novel technologies by innovative firms and inventors. I build innovation indicators using large-scale patent data and statistics to investigate why firms and inventors create novel technologies, how they do it, and how successful they are at it.

Teaching assistant for the bachelor courses of Financial Economics and Essentials of Business (6ECTS). The language of instruction was English.

Designed the data structure and supervised the data collection process. Prepared, processed and analyzed the data generated by the ongoing project. Reported results to project and agency managers.

My PhD thesis developed new theory and evidence about the origins and the value of novel technologies, and included three empirical studies that combined big (patent) data and state-of-the-art patent analytics to examine novel technologies and technological breakthroughs.

A two-year research master's with focus on quantitative tools for Economic analysis, including coursework on: Microeconomics, Statistics, Econometrics, Research Methods, Quantitative Marketing; and software like Stata, R and Matlab.

A 5-year degree in Economics, including coursework on Micro- and Macroeconomics, Monetary and Fiscal Policy, Statistics, Econometrics, Finance and Economic History, among others.
