Research field: Dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) plasma coating of sulfur for mitigation of capacity fade in lithium-sulfur batteries

PhD Student in Chemistry. Topic: "New material developments for lithium-sulfur batteries. This research entailed detailed analysis of synthesis, surface coating, and (electro)chemical characterization of cathode materials, including intensive research related to different binders used for electrode formulation thereof.

Led Research initiatives related to synthesis, surface coating and characterization for high voltage cathode material (Lithium Nickel Manganese oxide) for lithium-ion batteries  Successfully developed a research plan and experiment implementation guides  Conducted analytical evaluation to increase coulombic efficiency and stability of high voltage cathode material by introducing Zinc- Oxide and Lithium Tantalate as a surface coating material

Conducted research on synthesis and development of anode, cathode and electrolytes for Lithium- Ion batteries

Engaged with research topics mainly in the field of Nanotechnology (Nano-Coating, Super-hydrophobic surfaces) and Renewable Energy Sciences (Biomass, Biogas) • Successfully formulated the conversion mechanism of organic waste material to biogas • Led lab courses for undergraduates i.e. - Particulate technology, - Fluid Dynamics, - Heat Transfer Operation
