Taking ownership and planning of key parts to several large epics - white label functionality, gas market integration, system access control and logging. Refining the requirements and creating an understanding of what each story entails, and how they all fit together. Objectively looking at different technical approaches to these epics and collaborating with my team to create a path forward. Gathered feedback from the market and refined a minimal viable product. Full stack web development (Ruby on Rails) and deployment.

Maintained the Reserve Bank of New Zealand’s bank to bank exchange and settlement system. Developed a Java tool to automate the deployment process. Developed tools to help test the application's interactions with third parties.

Combined Particle Swarm optimization and gradient descent search for feature selection. Studied research papers to understand the leading edge research. Used empirical and theoretical analysis to identify good variable values.
