Project management - chemical industry

My area of responsibility covered the entire spectrum of process automation. The main focus of my work here was: conceptual planning and configuration of the control systems of pharmaceutical and chemical production, including the supervision of start-up and commissioning activities.

- Work together with the German project team on the development of automation systems configurations based on customer specifications; - Independently implement and test the project requirements, based on technical specifications; - Develop typical functions or operator Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) with the automation system; - Involvement in internal tests, Factory Acceptance Tests, Customer Site Start-Up activity and Site Acceptance Tests.

- Solution architect during pursuit and proposal phase by defining innovative and efficient technical solutions to fit customers’ budgets; - Responsible for the technical correctness of the system architecture and detailed solution, as well as for accuracy and completeness of the financial estimates; - Prepare and present technical features of Emerson and 3rd party products; - Act as Technical and Applications Consultant to the Spanish and Portuguese Sales Force.

• Respond to requests for technical assistance via phone or electronically for the Steelcase Headquarters • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues • Advise user on appropriate action • Follow standard help desk procedures • Administer help desk software • Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention • Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions in the knowledge base • Stay current with system information, changes and updates.

- Umsetzung (unter Linux, mit C), die auf einer hierarchischen Struktur von Funktionalität was als eine zersetzte Schichtarchitektur organisiert wurde. - APIs - Der zweite Teil - eine Simulation der Aktivitäten im Reitzentrum an einem Nachmittag bauen mussten, mit Nutzung von Synchronisation und Kommunikation zwischen Prozessen (Threads): Ampeln, geteilte Speicherplätze, Monitore und Nachrichtenströmung. - einem Team von 6, und unsere Aufgaben änderten sich jede Woche

Das Projekt "UA Anti-Manipulation und Diebstahl System" und unser multikulturelles 6-Personen-Team arbeitete in Zusammenarbeit mit einem anderen Team von 6 Personen, die verantwortlich für die Software-Probleme waren, während wir am Harware-Teil des Systems arbeiteten. Die Aufgabe war es, ein möglichst effizienter und kostengünstiger Echtzeit-Weg zum Schutz der Laborgeräte vor Beschädigung zu finden. Um dies zu tun, haben wir Tags, RFID, Sensoren, Antennen und Lesegeräte, über Ethernet benutzt.

"Real Time Vision Systems für autonome mobile Roboter" - Das Ziel: Bildverarbeitungssystemen, um autonome Roboter anzuwenden - das Problem der Ballerkennung für eine Roboter-Fußballmannschaft. - mit einem Professor und drei Doktoranden in den Forschungsstellen sowie auf einem Roboter-Fußballfeld des Labors gearbeitet. Meine Aufmerksamkeit: die Untersuchung der Art und Weise wie die Roboter den Ball erkennen und als rundförmig betrachtet. Die Programme, die ich verwendete - alle unter Linux.
