Lead teams of up to 10 technicians for maintaining the avionics equipment of a fleet of 40 aircraft to ensure readiness at all times. Analyzed, evaluated, and implemented new avionics and logistics systems. Wrote for an internal publication and helped developing the Flying Training Center’s image in the community and promoted the collaboration between the U.S. Air Force and the German Air Force.

Lead a team of 5 students in an advanced technology transfer program to establish market opportunities, analyze the competitive landscape and develop promotion strategies for new technologies. Developed a business plan for a multi-million dollar venture to produce or license one of the new technologies.

Researched opportunities to expand the target market for key surgical lines to include parts of Mexico. Performed a competitive analysis of the Mexican medical tourism industry and evaluated marketing strategies that considered cultural differences of the Mexican consumer in order to brand premium priced US services to compete with local medical services.

Researched potential uses, consumer perceptions, customer needs and possible demand for solar powered vehicles on college campuses.

Analyzed the Mexican market for a commodity product and developed a plan for a structured expansion of export activities into this market in cooperation with the company and the Department of Commerce.

Developed and operated a non-profit genealogy website that provided help, guidance, and sources for genealogical researchers, which reached up to 15,000 visitors per month without a marketing budget by meeting customer needs and encouraging word of mouth. Utilized PR work on prime time shows on German national TV and national radio for promotion.
