Created a containerized web app for semantically searching scanned documents, employing an embedding model, a vector database, and an LLM. - Performed supercomputer simulations using 100's of cores, partly automated via bash scripts, of the growth of the earliest supermassive black holes in the universe - Predicted their observable signatures with new telescopes, using Python to create an analysis pipeline from simulations to observables. - Presented my research at international conferences, in addition to work featured in an AAS Nova popular science article, and worked on shared projects with international collaborators. - Published 2 first

- Performed data-driven simulations with a C++ based code of coastal water flows to predict localized flood risks. Extracted output using Python. - Queried large 2D geo-spatial datasets, including sonar bathymetry (depth) data and LIDAR surface elevations. - Developed novel project ideas with marine researchers and presented my work to non-specialist colleagues.

Explored running simulations of quasars on a high performance compute cluster

Investigated the two-body (bound) beta decay of the neutron. Simulated magnetic fields around superconducting coils, performed data analysis, and helped test experimental apparatus to detect protons

Characterised gas jets as targets for Laser generated plasmas. Designed and built hypodermic needle gas jets and performed laser interferometry. Determined the density profile of the gas using Matlab.

Worked under the supervision of Dr. Daniel Whalen to develop supercomputer simulations of the formation and growth of the earliest supermassive black holes in the universe. From these physics rich simulations we made realistic predictions for their observational signatures with proposed telescopes

Took courses on general relativity and astrophysics, and published an academic paper on my MSc project.
