Marcus Ribeiro

Ecofet is an extension project offered by my home university - CEFET-MG (which stands for Federal Center for Technological Education of Minas Gerais) - with the objective of developing a highly energy efficient vehicle prototype and compete in the Shell Eco Marathon student competition. For four years, I was responsible for various roles within the team management, including planning the short- and medium-term actions of the entire team and managing 30 people and 5 departments of work.

I took part in two Rotary Youth programs (Interact and Rotaract) in teams consisting of about fifteen people. There, I was able to learn about project management and teamworking as we organized projects to detect and assess the needs of our communities and organized projects to assess such needs.

During the exchange program, I have been taking courses in the fields of Machine Learning, Chatbots, and Personal & Professional Development

Computer Engineering at CEFET-MG is known for its multidisciplinary curriculum, which spreads through Software Engineering, Computer Networks, and distributed systems as well as automation systems and intelligent systems.
