Marek Kupperman

Corporate lawyer (independent 'Rechtsanwalt' and in house legal counsel for a Dutch investment company) since 1987. Currently with Warendorf, a specialized corporate and finance law firm in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, independent, high quality, with a fully integrated notarial department.

The firm originally started out as KLegal and joined the Eversheds network around 2008. I started as partner Corporate M&A, Commercial and Litigation and when joining Eversheds became Head of the Banking, Finance and Securities Department in the Netherlands. The practice was international with a focus on clients active in financial services, food and IT.

Amsterdam based law firm, corporate, finance and commercial with an international focus. I was one of the founding and name partners, managing partner and chairman of the partnership, head of the corporate department and member of the executive committee of LGI, an international network of law firms, Kupperman van der Wiel joined in 2003. Kupperman van der Wiel was a succesfull and competitive law firm in Amsterdam.

The Noro Group of Companies was one of the largest privately managed investment firms with aproximately 3 bln NLG under management, comprising multiple investment funds (real estate investments in the US or private equity in the Netherlands in a wide variety of business areas). My role was legal management of numerous transactions that transpired as a result of a restructuring of the group, including regulatory work, and day to day legal advise (corporate housekeeping, corporate secretary).
