Study of stellar formation/evolution by means of multiwavelength analysis of young star forming regions. In particular, I investigated the relations between coronal and photospheric emission in pre-main sequence and main sequence stars to understand the evolution of the angular momentum of the star and the coronal heating mechanisms. I was also part of the Gaia-ESO Survey Legacy by working with the group planning the ESO FLAMES observations of the 20 young pre-main sequence clusters.

In- vestigation of the population of NGC 1893, a young cluster in the outer part of the Galaxy to explore the possible effect of the environment, by means of infrared observations acquired using the IRAC camera on board the Spitzer Space Telescope and X-ray Chandra ACIS-I observations.

Using the data of the Chandra Orion Ultradeep project (COUP), a ∼ 13 day long X-ray observation of the Orion Nebula Cluster, statistically characterize the flare-like variability of 165 low mass members in order to test and constrain the physical scenario in which flares explain all the observed emission.
