As Chief Architect, I lead a team in the engineering division for Microsoft Cloud for Regulated Industries (Sovereignty/Public Sector and Financial Services). We create consistent, secure, reliable, reusable, and compliant product artefacts. We drive innovation, establishing our products’ architectural foundation for sustained success. We collaborate with engineering teams, guiding them through coaching, mentoring, workshops, and we explore future capabilities by building prototypes.

Chief architect of the engineering team building the Microsoft Cloud for Sovereignty, a set of components and services to ensure sovereignty, security, and compliance for public sector organizations when adopting Azure Public Cloud. Accountable for the holistic architecture, the long-term technical road map, and the ensurance of meeting sovereign promises. Collaborating with and relying on the engineering teams through coaching, mentoring, design & review workshops, and prototyping.

Leading multiple feature crews of the engineering team which builds services and components of the Microsoft Cloud for Manufacturing. The Feature Crews are distributed across EMEA, US, and India. I am proud for being able compose and hire the crews with awesome talent through the past 6 months. We build the Microsoft Cloud for Manufacturing based on Kubernetes, Azure, Power Platform, M365, and Microsoft Teams. Leading a team of customer-facing engineers from the Azure Product Group in EMEA. Responsible for working with my team in partnership with Azure Product Teams on the most challenging customer workloads and derive improvements/changes of Azure Services and the core-platform from those projects. As part of this, my team and I get to engineer with and for customers as well as product groups from design though implementation (coding, deployments) to validation of deliverables.

Principal software development engineer within the customer-facing part of Azure Engineering at Microsoft Corp. HQ. Responsible for working in partnership with Azure Product Teams on the most challenging Azure customer projects in EMEA with the primary objective of making those customers successful on Azure and driving improvements of Azure Services and the core-platform.

Senior Architect bei Microsoft Enterprise Services, strategische Architektur-Beratung für Top-Enterprise Accounts auf C-Level und zu Enterprise Architecture. Technical Content Owner für internationale Konferenzen (TechEd Europe), Speaker auf internationalen Konferenzen (TechEd, JAOO, TechDays...).
