Investigation and software development for PKI based SOTA updates from vehicle. Here I dealt with the certificates, the encryption and possible communication weaknesses. An overview of the safeguards used for a SOTA update has been compiled. Hacker attacks have revealed weaknesses in the mechanisms and protocols. Tools: KalliLinux, Wireshark, Nmap, Ettercap, Metasploit Keywords: Arpspoofing, TLS, HSM, TPM, Raspberry Pi, IDP, MitM.
