Responsible for: - Managing IT site support activities in Slovakia and Czech Republic - Line management of Czech Republic Site Support and management of IT Contractors in Czech Republic and Slovakia - Ensuring Corporate standards and industry best practices are observed in the course of operational tasks - Asset and CMDB management for Slovakia - IT Vendor pre-selection and relationship management for Slovakia.

Additionally to the responsibilities described for IT Site Support Engineer II this role is concerned with 3rd level user support within our EEME Region as well as with support for other IT colleagues within the region. The responsibilities of this role also include sole responsibility for regional projects as well as regional coordinating roles in global IT related projects and participation in global and local teambuilding activities.

As a IT Site Support Engineer II my task was to provide second level IT support to users in the Quintiles office in Slovakia and to support local IT operations. This involved: - selection of/negotitiation with local suppliers according to global company standards and requirements. - providing implementation support to global IT groups within our company - participation in global (company wide) IT related projects - management and implementation of local/regional projects.

As a local site support freelancer I was responsible for the day to day support of users in the quintiles office in Slovakia. My tasks included basic server and network administration, user training and end user support.
