FEED for a 30,000 tpa green methanol plant in Finland: mass and energy balances and AVEVA simulation, PFDs and P&IDs, equipment specs for tanks, pumps and piping (methanol, hydrogen). HAZOP follow-up to 100% action closure; safety functions designed to IEC 61511. CSA documents for a skid-mounted plant. Support on two Power-to-Methanol pilot plants in Germany. Techno-economic assessments; compared alkaline vs. PEM electrolysis. Tools: AVEVA, Aspen HYSYS, AutoCAD, Python.

MSc thesis (TU Munich / BOKU Vienna) written at bse Methanol: dynamic simulation and optimisation of a Power-to-Methanol process, including a model of the RWGS reactor under fluctuating hydrogen supply. The work looked at how the plant follows renewable load changes and where control could be improved for more stable operation.

Part-time job during my MSc. Ran daily warehouse operations (storage, stock control, distribution), coordinated a small team of associates and completed the site safety training.

Two-month internship during my BEng. Worked in the showroom and service area: motorcycle maintenance basics, diagnosing common faults with the service team, and parts inventory.

Partner university of the joint MSc in Biomass Technology with TU Munich (see TU Munich entry). Exchange semester in Vienna focused on circular economy, chemical use of biomass and organic crop production systems.

Joint MSc (120 ECTS) between TU Munich (Campus Straubing) and BOKU Vienna, taught in English. Focus on process engineering, energetic use of biomass, life cycle assessment, biorefinery and sustainable chemistry. Thesis: dynamic simulation and optimisation of a Power-to-Methanol process, including an RWGS reactor model, as part of the BioBall research project AbZuMeOH.

Core subjects: thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, machine design and manufacturing. Final-year project: a domestic kitchen-waste disposal system that turns food waste into an odourless soil amendment, published at NCEVEM'19.
