Currently working on Eagle, a new system for advanced remote sensing data processing and interpretation. Eagle aims to process data from Google Maps and other sources, collect results, maintain wiki database etc. An initial version of this system has already been developed for the National Land Survey of Iceland, and it is planned to extend the system’s functionalities towards its exploitation in Iceland and other countries such as Spain and Italy.

Activity of research in geospatial image processing field. My work has been based on developing new methods for automatic generation of Morphological Attribute Profiles to facilitate fusion of spectral and spatial information for classifying remote sensing images. A SPIE publication and my master thesis are based on the results of this activity of research.

C++ Full-Time Programmer. Sarmap SA is a company working in Remote Sensing field, which works on developing automatic techniques aiming at handling geospatial images. One well known product is Sarscape, a powerful plug-in module inserted in ENVI. My work has been focused on implementing new functionalities of Sarscape in C++ environment, in particular a new algorithm aiming to retrieve the road network in automatic way.
