Dipl.-Ing. Matyas Barta

Working on a turbocharger project with a team. The project includes CFD simulation using STAR CCM+ and also experiments carried out later in a PIV laboratory. Besides these, I am an assistant professor since 2013 for the disciplinary course Thermodynamics of Internal Combustion Engines in which I am helping the professor in preparing tests as well as marking them and I am also taking my part in the practical courses. I am helping in the everyday life of the Department of Internal Combustion Engines.

I was part of a team who was doing daily inspections on trucks on the road. I was using an OBD reader to read out fault codes from the trucks' computer and my task was to find out if there is a correlation between fault codes and e.g. manipulation on the tachographs. Later this project became my thesis.

My assessment started as a summer practice which later became an internship. I was working at the department of quality management and purchasing. My duties included daily reports, inspecting the production lines, solving problems if there were any, taking materials for a test, keeping in touch with the contractor.
