I am working in a 24/7 team security in a governmental environment with many different kind of technologies like SIEM, IPS, proxy, NGFW, APT and other network technologies.

I worked in a rotational 24/7 SOC environment from Mapfre. Mapfre had three SIEM independent infrastructures (Spain, Miami (USA and Latin America) and Brazil) and we had to manage these SIEM (Symantec and McAfee), IPS, log databases (Splunk), EPO (McAfee Antivirus), proxies (Websense), social media (Radian) and forensics (Encase).

My job was managing backup and recovery platform of our clients and our own platform like Networker, TSM, Netbackup, CommVault and BackupExec backup infrastructure. We had to solve failure backup together with SA, DBA teams. Made reports to our clients. The last three months, we had some storage courses (NetApp and IBM storage).

I got a grant that allowed me to work in this company for 3 months. I worked as a system engineer. I supervised the backups and Oracle databases every day, fixing the errors and improving their performance. I also performed the update of the Netbackup platform.

I worked in R Cable and Telecommunications Galicia S.A. (Aldaba provides an outsourced service). I worked in the operation and maintenance department. Our team had the responsibility of solving all the technical incidents in very critical systems. We also had to update the business systems managing and learning different technologies, as for example, perimetral security, hosting, backup, monitoring, virtualization among many others.

Thesis: The "PLAN" phase of ISO 27001. Many fields of cyber security.
