In my role, my global team's responsibility is to own, maintain and develop the Service Sales Calculation Tool. Costs are maintained and updated based on the input from stakeholders in different areas of our global organization. Costs estimation's for new products are defined in close collaboration with our PLM function. Another responsibility is the implementation of new IT solutions within service costs analysis, sales price intelligence, maritime logistics planning, and Non-conformity cost handling.

I am leading a global Cost and Value Engineering team which is leading all cost out activities out of Procurement in Siemens Gamesa. In addition we are responsible for all CVE tools, methods, processes and templates across Siemens Gamesa. Further we are responsible for benchmark the cost competitiveness of our components and technologies across platforms and against the industry norm. In addition our team is preparing the KPI- and cost-reporting for the CPO.

Leading an international team of experts which uses CVE levers and methods: •Should Cost Calculation - Bottom-up cost structure analysis & Parametric models •TCP - Cost target setting, Benchmarking & Cost transparency as a key to optimization •DtV - Design to Value and Standardization •SPI - Supply Chain Productivity Improvement •CAO - Applying appropriate CVE methods for negotiation

I provide and conduct market information's/analyses to internal technology I prepare sourcing decisions with interface partners in order to incorporate technological know-how Assesses and develops suppliers from the technological standpoint Participate in workgroups and work in projects in order to stay informed and keep and others informed
