Über mich
I am an automotive systems engineer with over 10 years of practical vehicle design and theoretic research experience in international teams in Germany and Asia. At BMW’s electric/electronics development department I currently design and optimise low-voltage on-board vehicle power supply systems for the future models. I am passionate about computational tools to complement and enhance human capabilities. The focus of my professional methodological expertise is on systems engineering, optimization, programming, functional development and model-based design. Automotive Systems Engineer for the Low-Voltage Vehicle Power-Grid
BMW GroupAt the electric/electronics development department I design low-voltage vehicle on-board power supply systems for future models. Since over three years in this position I succeeded in highly automating the previous manual and repetitive task with a new software framework. In my role I coordinate a team of six engineering and IT specialists, report in steering commitees, and manage an annual budget of over one million euros.

Automotive Systems Engineer for the Functional Vehicle Architecture
ESG Elektroniksystem- und Logistik-GmbHI was responsible for the planning, coordination and management of the functional architecture in the early development phase of a new electric vehicle for an international client. I directly reported to the client and provided technology assessment in high level meetings for future strategic cooperations. My technical team lead comprised five engineering specialists.
At the TU München Institute for Machine Tools and Industrial Management (iwb) I designed, implemented and optimised collision-free robot motion planing algorithms for automatic part inspection with a mounted laser scanner during production.

Research Associate
TUM CREATE Ltd.
In a leading position I essentially contributed to build the fully functional electric taxi prototype "EVA" from scratch, which combined and showcased the research of several departments. It was eventually presented at Tokyo Motorshow in 2013. My personal research topic was model-based systems engineering and multi-criteria optimization for vehicle powertrains. At the TU München home faculty I prepared and delivered lectures and supervised over ten master students in engineering and research projects.

Engineering and Management Assistant Intern
KUKA Shanghai
As an intern at KUKA in Shanghai I assisted the management with the planning, installation and documentation of a new robot cell at the production facility of Volkswagen Shanghai in Anting. My intership included visits for robot maintenance at various client locations in and around Shanghai and the representation of KUKA at two exhibitions at EXPO Shanghai and Hangzhou.
