Carrier Induced Degradation of Multi-Crystalline Silicon Solar Cells: Electroluminescence (EL) Study Highlighted Accomplished Tasks: 1) Model for degradation mechanisms with kinetics suggested for mc-Si solar cells. 2) Established a relationship between EL degradation and cell efficiency degradation. 3) Dependency of degradation on already existing structural defects of the cells have been analyzed. 4) Temperature dependence of EL measurements at elevated operating temperature have been identified.

Topic: Construction and Evaluation of an Experimental Setup using Infrared-Thermography for the measurement of the Undercooling of Solder Alloys. 1) Analysis and finding improvement scopes from an existing experimental setup for undercooling measurements using IR Thermography. 2) Planning and Design of the improved experimental setup. 3) Assembly and Calibration of the setup.
