Currently, the team leader of the central R&D Vibration & Acoustics department at Arcelik A.S. In this context, managing following themes: + annual budget planning, + assessment of technical projects in line with vibration and acoustics subjects, + initiating new partnership and cooperation with the academy and industry + organizing and managing the team comprising 18 members to lay the groundwork for the R&D activities.

Management of various scientific and industrial projects such as European Union project (EU FP7 COPA-GT) and DFG (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft) POWER25 (Power Plant Integration and Performance 2025) project, numerical analyses of highly intricate jet flow/acoustic problems by high fidelity, highly resolved massively parallel CFD/CAA simulations, development of a C++ flow solver to be able to simulate complex flow/acoustic problems.

Tasks: Management of automotive acoustic resonator project which was organised for the first time at Teklas Kaucuk AS. A resonator design to lay down the specs of Fiat Multipla was successfully undertaken. This design process already incorporates the following steps; layout design, CFD/Acoustic simulations (pressure loss and transmission loss), and measurements.

Design/Simulation/Test of mufflers resonators silencers (mostly used in heavy duty machines, generators etc.) in accordance with the desired flow and acoustic performance in line with the engine specs.
