Developed experimental smart home interfaces using a Human-Centred Design process. Configured and maintained custom Linux-based infrastructure for controlling and coordinating multi-vendor devices via MQTT and vendor-specific APIs. Wrote Arduino (C++) code to handle client-side touch interactions. Led mixed-method usability studies and contributed to peer-reviewed academic publications exploring how physical object attributes can be repurposed to create novel interactive systems.

Member of a team providing technology design consultancy services to Namibian clients, including web application development, data migration, server configuration, interaction and experience design. Since 2024, we have been developing an Online Licence Administration Portal System for the Namibian Energy Regulator, with C# ASP.NET Core, Postgresql, Elsa Workflow, JasperReports, and Piranha CMS. I am responsible for interaction design, writing API and client-side controllers and running tests.

As part of a BMBF-funded Organisation, I maintained Linux infrastructure with weather data from five Southern African countries in the WeatherNet System. I wrote PHP and Node.js RESTful APIs to augment data collected from automated stations and crowdsourced from citizen scientists. I wrote SQL and Mongo queries for real-time data requests and task automation shell scripts. Maintained the organisation's WordPress website, adding custom PHP modules and extending the theme using custom CSS and JavaScript.
