Leading a team of 7 regional Operations directors, responsible to manage the ANH premix network of approx. 50 plants in 35 countries globally.
Following a thorough due diligence process, DSM successfully acquired the ERBER Group. I served as the Co-Leader overseeing the integration of ERBER and BIOMIN Operations into the DSM ANH (Animal Nutrition and Health) Organization. The Operations workstream covered key areas such as Manufacturing, Quality Management, Procurement, and SHE (Safety, Health, Environment).
The ERBER Group, now integrated into DSM-Firmenich, comprised BIOMIN, ROMER LABS, SANPHAR, BIO-FERM, and EFB, establishing itself as a rapidly expanding and prominent player in the field of Biotechnology. With a global operational and manufacturing network encompassing approximately 20 production units across 10 countries. My accountabilities included: • Global leadership in Procurement, Manufacturing, Supply Chain & Operational Excellence, Engineering, Facility, and Quality Management
Management of a network of 14 factories in Europe, Asia and South America in a combination of direct-, matrix- and staff- responsibility Develop and lead CAPEX investments of new production sites (project oversight / management for technical and operational area) Accountability for the global purchasing and production activities Project lead for transforming the production, procurement and supply chain organization to cope with the growth ambition of doubling the business within the next 5 years
